We opened our doors to fisherman in 2007. It took a lot of hard work and effort to get the Road to the dam. Our first home at the dam for a number of years.

We slowly progressed to Some Zink Toilets and showers. Building the new ablutions and water for the newly acquired residents took some Family input
Dion, Maintenance Guy on the left, Paul and Steven, to the right.  Our right hand man and Park manager.Due to the fact that our park is a residential area as well as a fishing camp and mostly a place to come and relax the only motorbike that you will see is ours,  they are there for patrolling and Helping you make your stay memorable,

Our popular tented camps for the fisherman, have been a saving grace from the elements many a time. Lots of wonderful family memories and parties had at the Famous Vermeulen Camp ”no 10”.

Once the fisherman started getting thirsty we found a need for a little shop to sell some Bits and pieces….
